Set the height of a textbox on a Dynamic Form

I am using a multiline textbox on a form. It currently can show two lines of text. I'd like to make it tall enough for around 15 lines.

I have changed the field setting named:  "Multiline Textbox Height:"  to 15, I event tried 100. This has no effect on the height of the textbox.

I have also attempted to set the height using css to no avail. What is the right way to make the textbox taller?

  • HI Mark, what version of Dynamic Forms and DNN are you using?

  • Hi David.
    Ver:5.0.0.50 / 7.4.0Mid:1481 / Tab:397 - Mark Buelsing 6/12/2015

  • HI, this is probably a bug. I tried version 6.0 of Dynamic Forms and have the same problem. I change the multi-line textbox height but it doesn't change. I also changed from responsive (div) to tables format under module configuration and it didn't do anything either. Normally, changing the textbox height should work right off but it doesn't seem to work right now.

I'll let our developer know of this.

I just fixed the height by setting the height setting in css as shown below. I had to get and use the id of the textbox. When I used a class for the textbox, it did not work. I also had to append !Important to the height.
